Dr. Walter Piekarczyk has been in private practice in Gainesville, GA since 1996. He is a Navy veteran whose experience with Chiropractic care changed his life.
Dr. Walter is very active within the Chiropractic profession as well as in our community. He is a member of the Georgia Council of Chiropractic. He has also served the Chiropractic profession as member of the International Board of Governors for the World Chiropractic Alliance and as an Ambassador for the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance. He served for 4 years as a member of the board of directors for Prevent Child Abuse- Gainesville (currently known as Family Ties Gainesville) and was recognized as one of the outstanding volunteers for the State of Georgia in 2006. He served as the team Chiropractor for the North Hall Trojans athletic teams for 20 years and also spent several years coaching youth football, baseball and basketball.
Dr. Walter has published research on the effects of Chiropractic care in children with asthma and was involved in a ground breaking research study on the effects of chiropractic care in Autistic children.
Dr. Walter lives in Gainesville with his wife Cathy.
